There are many resources available for women in domestic violence situations or for women who are constantly feeling disrespected in their intimate relationships and do not know what to do about it. There are helplines available in the Lower Mainland, transition houses where you and your children can stay for 30 days, community centres who offer ‘Stopping the Violence’ and ‘Children who witness abuse’ programs, counselling services, and legal services.
