Ian McDonald
Director: Housing
Shelter & Facilities Management
Since 2014, Ian McDonald has been a cornerstone of the physical infrastructure at Domestic Abuse Services OLGCS. His primary focus is the ongoing renovation and meticulous maintenance of Eva's House, ensuring a safe, dignified, and functioning environment for our residents.
His leadership was instrumental during the development and launch of our new 2022 shelter facility. Ian oversees all technical aspects of our properties, from structural integrity to the complex systems required to keep our shelters running 24/7.
Professional & Faith Leadership
Ian brings a wealth of technical expertise from a distinguished 40-year career in the IT and Telecommunications industry. This background allows him to approach facility management with a unique analytical and systems-oriented perspective.
Deeply rooted in his faith, Ian is an active member of the St. Clare of Assisi parish. He also demonstrates his commitment to community service through his leadership roles within the Knights of Columbus, bridging the gap between professional excellence and local outreach.
