Prayer is an integral part of DAS’ ministry, importantly for the women and children who come through the doors of Eva’s House seeking safety, help and healing. DAS welcomes individuals and groups, including parish councils, to support DAS ministry by adopting a day of prayer for families and victims of domestic violence. Perhaps your council or individual members of your council can pray for the intentions of DAS every Wednesday or the first Monday of the month, just as examples. The full name of the society is the Domestic Abuse Services – Our Lady of Good Counsel Society, so perhaps Our Lady of Good Counsel could be incorporated into the prayer service.
