Christina brings more than 40 years of professional experience to the DAS Board of Directors. She holds a MBA, and has built a diverse marketing and business career working with both local businesses and multinational corporations in Asia Pacific and Canada.

Mid-career, Christina transitioned to the field of mental health, earning a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and founding Innova Therapy Inc., a group private practice providing counselling to clients throughout BC. Her unique combination of strategic business expertise and clinical counselling experience enables her to bring compassion and a deep understanding of the complex needs of individuals and communities to the Board.

Community Involvement

Christina has a longstanding commitment to serving our community. Together with her husband Ian, she spent more than 10 years presenting and coordinating the Catholic Engaged Encounter program. Today, they mentor engaged couples through the Witness to Love mentorship model of preparing for the Sacrament of Marriage in parishes across British Columbia.

An active volunteer in her parish, Christina supports fundraising and community-building activities. She also previously served on the Board of Community Ventures Society, which supports individuals with developmental disabilities, bringing valuable nonprofit governance experience to the DAS Board.
