Professional Background

Angelina Stiglich brings a wealth of executive experience to her leadership role, with over 35 years of excellence in the banking industry. Her distinguished career includes serving as a Senior Manager in Commercial Credit at RBC, where she developed the high-level financial oversight and strategic planning skills that now guide our organization.

Prior to her appointment as President, Angelina served a dedicated tenure as Treasurer from 2012 to 2016. In this capacity, she was instrumental in fortifying the organization's fiscal health and ensuring that every resource was maximized to support survivors of domestic abuse.

Community Involvement

Deeply committed to faith and social justice, Angelina is an active leader within the Catholic Women's League (CWL), contributing her talents to both St. Joseph’s and the Diocesan Council. Her advocacy extends to critical social issues through her work with the Anti-Human Trafficking Committee, notably supporting the "Buying Sex is Not a Sport" campaign.

Her spirit of service and community impact was recognized nationally when she was selected as a 2010 Olympic Torch Bearer, a moment that reflects her lifelong dedication to inspiring and leading others.

Eva's House provides a safe, supportive, and confidential environment for women and children. It serves as a bridge between emergency shelter and independent living, offering the time and resources needed to rebuild lives free from violence.

How access works: Applications available through first-stage shelters when space is available. Contact your shelter's resource worker.

Thrifter's Paradise

Shop With Purpose. Run By Volunteers.

More than just a store, Thrifter's Paradise is a community hub. All proceeds help fund essential work, including operating and maintaining Eva's House. Every purchase and donation makes a direct impact.
