2020 RIDE To Keep the Dream Alive

Raffaele Salvino, seminarian intern from St. Matthew’s Roman Catholic Parish in Surrey, has gone above and beyond in a mission to support Domestic Abuse Services – Our Lady of Good Counsel. We think it’s worth a front page mention of our gratitude to him for his effort in our 2020 Walk to Keep the Dream Alive. While many participants added their own unique spins to this years walk-in-place walkathon, Raffaele chose to cycle 190kms across the Metro Vancouver and Fraser Valley region. He succeeded in just over 7 hours and raised more than $1300 towards our cause and for victims of domestic abuse.

We are so inspired by Raffaele’s initiative and we hope more people will participate in this challenge next year! If you want to donate towards Raffaele’s ride, click here. Thank you to everyone who participated and those who supported their efforts!
